Jarrier - The Fregny circuit
This route's best asset is its south orientation and panoramic views on Mamelles de Beaune, Mont Emy and Aiguilles d'Arves. In a short ride, you can admire a great mountain ensemble !
Besides you may get lucky enough to see a fox or a hare... In any case, don't miss the alpine flora all along the circuit. Crossing hamlets with their old buildings will make you familiar with the typical architecture of jambed houses. .

Difficulty

The route

Take the path behind Chapelle de Notre Dame (built in 1685) to reach the local road to Fregny Dessus.

After crossing the stream of la Vardaz, you will see the Montfalcon houses. Then take the trail to Fregny Dessus to pass under the Saint Roch chapel , characterized by the pink color of its walls. The chapel was erected in 1565 after the plague that decimated most of the population.

After the Saint Roch chapel, following D78 for one kilomètre, you will arrive at the Saint Antoine chapel, dated 1715. Take the path to the left of the chapel and you will return to la Tuvière, and Notre Dame.
