Bessans
- Circuit around the Bessans plain
Easy loop, ideal for children, in a nordic skiing heaven, the
route takes you to the heart of a scenery that is naturally beautiful
and serene. Hamlets and chapels invite your contemplation, while
pastoral and cheese-making activities reserve savory encounters.

 Departure
at the Pont Bleu, in Bessans. Discover the rich mountain flora
in the first section of the route by taking "Chemin du petit bonheur",
a botanic path.
The Ribon valley, then the hamlet of La Goulaz, and a pastoral
trail that will lead you to the Notre-Dame des Grâces chapel.
Riding up to Le Villaron, you will reach the inn, then back to
Bessans via a path on the right bank. There, see the St Antoine
chapel and the dairy where, in the morning, you can see people
making tomme and beaufort. Go back to your car.

Take A43 all the way, then RN 6 to Lanslebourg
and D 902 to Bessans.
