The route
The
original equipment that has been installed on this west-oriented
cliff is half-way between rock-climbing and via ferrata.
The route is equipped with open anchor points for
roped-up progression (belay every 30 meters or so).
It is organized into 11 sections, with climbing zones, footbridges;
rope bridges and traverses and two 14 and 17-meter abseils.
IMPORTANT : roped-up progression, you need one 35-meter
rope, one descender, four quick-draws, one double sling and
a helmet.
N.B : The leader must know about rope-handling manoeuvers
and be a competent climber !!!
Access
From the A43 exit in Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne, follow RN6 to
the crossroads to Saint-martin-la-porte, pass the church and
the cemetery and park at the foot of the cliff.
