Presentation
This new route, located between Bessans and Bonneval, is the last one in the upper regions of the valley. Inaugurated in 2000, it is characterized by its variety and airy cliffs, offering a superb panorama on the Bessans plateau.

The route
The Pierre Blanc (aka "le pape") route is a beginner's route suitable for children. It is followed by the Greffier ledge (cables) and the airier terminal part is named after a local mountain guide, recently lost in the Mont Blanc massif : Guy Favre.

Descend via a partialled cabled footpath.

Access
From Bessans, take RN 6, 2 km to the right upwards of Le Villaron. Park and follow blazed footpath.
