Circuit around lake Pramol
Difficulty

The route

From Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, go towards Villargondran, along the lake, then the first hairpins on D81 will take you to Le Bochet.

Eight hairpins further up, after the village of Montricher, turn left towards Albane.

In Albane turn right towards lake Pramol, then ride down the forest trail bordered by very old larches to Les Karellis.

From Les Karellis, back to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne via D81.

A little history
The forest road was opened 25 years ago when the resort was created, and it is used by skiers in winter.

The access road to the resort was also totally remodeled at that time. In places, it is literally "nailed" to the rock by 8-inch nails.
