Bramans - From Petit Bonheur to Petit Mont-Cenis
Very enjoyable loop, mixing the beauty of a long run along the Arc river, a climb to the Mont-Cenis col and a descent into the wild valleys of Savalin and Le Planey. Good climbs, unbeatable views and efforts galore, this tour will amaze you… if you are in good shape !

Difficulty

The route

Start from the Bramans campsite. The route partly follows the Petit Bonheur to Termignon la Vanoise. A military road goes up (hairpins) among the spruces and pines to Replat des Canons.

An alternative route can take you from Pont de la Pouge to the fort of la Turra where the view over the Alps is even more impressive… without mentioning the ever-renewed pleasure of discovering other "strongholds".

After the Mont-Cenis road and the passage of Petit Mont-Cenis (trail), the descent towards the valleys of Savalin and Le Planey (difficult) will reward all your efforts !

Access
Take A43 all the way, then RN 6 to Bramans and go to the campsite.
